Sell Globally—and Work Locally—with a Virtual Office

Technology has given new meaning to the phrase “it’s a small world after all.”  With connectivity and immediacy, we’re able to link to parts abroad as if there were no borders or little space between.  Save for time zone and language differences, we’re able to think globally unlike ever before in terms of business opportunities.  We can sync and sell with innumerable points on the globe from our own zip codes, without leaving home if we so choose.  That’s the amazing thing about virtual offices; we can be anywhere, from Los Angeles to New York, without going anywhere these days.

If you’re a business owner, either established or start-up, think beyond the borders about how your business may hold international viability and profitability.  Do you trade in goods that could have global appeal?  Could your services translate for other cultures?

Goodbye Hamster Wheel: Turn to Virtual Offices for Space Solutions

hamster wheelWhen it comes to deciding what to do about physical office space, many business owners have it simple.  If there are no funds for down payments or monthly mortgage expenditures, purchasing is immediately out as an option.  Likewise, if a business’s workforce is geographically scattered in order to nurture regional opportunities, there’s often no logic in investing in real estate for a large company headquarters.  Then the debate is often what and where to lease, if at all.

Yet of course, some businesses still function in the hamster wheel approach, in which space is considered a must, and everybody runs in forward circles trying to earn enough to keep a weighty operational budget funded.  All too often for such companies, the walls of their financially burdensome office spaces start to confine companies.  When the going gets tough for the business, it’s hard to maintain the space, let alone salaries.
