While the trend for virtual offices is becoming more and more accepted by mainstream American culture, it isn’t something that anyone actually teaches us to do. I mean, there is no Virtual Officing 101 in high school (yes, dear, virtual office is down the hall and next to shop). And part of that is because we are still at the edge of a business revolution.
Business people are realizing that the don’t need a physical office space in the same way as they did previously. But, what do they need? Without a store front, it becomes even more important to generate a professional impression, to ensure that the customer immediately knows they are dealing with a respectable individual.

Virtual offices have grown out of a concept that originated in the tech community, called Location Independence. Essentially, it means that you have the ability to be everywhere at once, without being in any particular location. See what I mean? No? OK that might be a bit vague…how about this famous quote (that either originated with Confucius or Buckaroo Bonsai) “No matter where you go, there you are”. Not quite getting it yet? Try this on for size…
You can work from ANY LOCATION…short and simple…Though not as funny, I think I like it best.

No longer do office managers need to agonize over who gets what cubicle. Competition for that corner office is eliminated. Office politics (at least as regards to office locations) is done away with when a company takes virtual office space.
Virtual office space means increased efficiency, flexibility, and has a positive effect on budgets for any company and its employees that utilize it. Professionalism and productivity are not sacrificed at all, and in fact are increased in many ways. A company that takes virtual office space instead of a traditional office space is replacing the physical elements of the business with something new that still does the job but actually saves both time and space while still remaining a profitable business.
Traditional business plans require office space, whether that’s in tall office buildings downtown or cubicles arranged in an office park setting just off the highway. New business plans, however, accept virtual office space as a reality in business today. Finally, many companies decide to change how they handle information when they switch to virtual office space, and adopt the concept of a paperless office with potential great cost savings success.
Virtual Office Space Tip: When it comes to the day-to-day business workings of a company, virtual office spaces can have a remarkable positive impact on work functionality and information management needs.
If you’re a working mom and running your own small business out of your home at the same time, you understand about the need for prioritizing and delegating. More and more working moms/business owners today are finding that virtual assistants can take on any number of business tasks for them, freeing them up for higher-priority tasks, whether that’s business- or family-related.
Which would you rather be doing at the end of a business day: staying late to get three dozen invoices billed and in the mail, or helping your daughters with their homework after an unhurried and pleasant family dinner? Your virtual assistant can take care of the invoices for you; you work very hard and deserve time with your family.
Rather than trying to send out invoices, send faxes, and make a presentation via teleconferencing, let your virtual assistant take over things. You can focus fully on the presentation and teleconference, with the knowledge that your very able, very professional virtual assistant has your invoicing, faxing, and whatever else totally under control.
Virtual Assistant Tip: We know all too well, there’s just not enough hours in the day to do it all on your own: run a business and a family. If you’re feeling a time crunch at the office and your family time is suffering as a result, then we think the perfect solution is a virtual assistant.
